Workshop Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Workshop Attendees of Havana Haus.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before hiring Havana Haus. By booking and using the studio, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following terms:

 

1. Registration and Payment:

Participants must register for the workshop in advance through our official channels.

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a spot in the workshop.

Payment methods accepted will be specified in the registration process.

Registration fees are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by the organisers.

 

2. Workshop Content:

The workshop content, including topics covered, schedule, and location, will be provided to participants prior to the workshop.

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the workshop content, schedule, or location if necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.

 

3. Participant Requirements:

Participants must bring their own photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and any other necessary accessories.

It is recommended that participants have a basic understanding of photography techniques prior to attending the workshop.

Participants must abide by any safety guidelines or instructions provided by the workshop instructors.

 

4. Liability:

Participants are responsible for their own safety during the workshop, including the safety of their equipment.

The organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the workshop, except in cases of negligence on the part of the organizers.

Participants are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for their equipment and personal belongings.

 

5. Copyright and Usage:

Participants retain the copyright to any photographs taken during the workshop.

By participating in the workshop, participants grant the organizers the right to use their photographs for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, website, social media, and marketing materials.

 

6. Cancellation and Refunds:

The organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum enrollment is not met.

In the event of cancellation by the organisers, participants will be offered a full refund of their registration fees.

Participants who wish to cancel their registration must notify the organisers in writing. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the discretion of the organisers and may be subject to a cancellation fee.

 

7. Code of Conduct:

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner towards the instructors and fellow participants.

Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the organisers may result in the participant being asked to leave the workshop without refund.

 

8. Privacy Policy:

The organisers will collect personal information from participants for the purpose of registration and communication related to the workshop.

Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for the organisation and execution of the workshop.

 

9. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, and any disputes arising from or related to the workshop shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.

 

10. Agreement:

By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
