A photographer-founded studio designed around the way brands, photographers and creative teams work.
Havana Haus was created by photographer and videographer Chloe Hutchison after years of working in spaces that weren't built for the way creative work actually happens.
She wanted natural light and controlled light. Styled spaces that didn't dictate the entire shoot. Enough variety to create a full campaign without changing locations. Furniture that could move. Room for teams to work properly. And a studio that worked just as hard as the people shooting in it.
So she built one.
Since opening our doors in 2023, Havana Haus has grown into a creative studio and production house in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, built around one simple idea: good spaces should make good work easier.
And because our founder still works behind the camera, we know what matters on shoot day. The lighting. The layout. The equipment. The freedom to change direction halfway through a campaign. The little things that make a big difference when you're creating for a living.
It's why our Haus continues to evolve. We're always looking at how people use the space, what they need more of, and how we can make it better. More flexibility, more functionality, more ways to create.
But we're more than four walls and some very stylish furniture.
Alongside studio hire, our in-house creative team works with brands, businesses and agencies on commercial photography, video, campaigns and content production. From personal branding and e-commerce to full-scale campaigns and podcasts, we have the people, equipment and experience to bring ideas to life.
Bring your own crew or work with ours. We're good with both.
And then there's the people.
Havana Haus has always been about more than what happens on shoot day.
Through workshops, education, events and collaborations, we've built a community of photographers, founders, brands and creatives who share ideas, make connections and genuinely want to see each other do well.
It's a place to create work you're proud of, meet people doing interesting things, and be part of something beyond your next booking.
Over three years in and we're still building, still creating and still finding ways to do things differently.
And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Welcome to the Haus.
Chloe has over a decade experience as a commercial photographer, and is the founder of Havana Haus.
Her background across campaign, fashion, e-commerce, personal branding and production has shaped the studio from the beginning- not only how Havana looks, but how it functions.
Having spent years both shooting inside Havana Haus and watching hundreds of productions move through it, Chloe continues to develop the studio around what photographers, brands and creative teams actually need from a modern production space.
She continues to lead campaign and brand productions through Havana Haus while overseeing the creative direction and evolution of the studio.
Specialties:

Kinnde Studio is our go-to for product photography that looks like it belongs in a gallery. Known for a less-is-more approach and an eye for detail that borders on obsessive (in the best way), their work is clean, elevated, and quietly iconic. If your brand’s aesthetic is minimalist, moody, or design-forward- this is the lens you want on it.

Our go-to style queen with a wardrobe bigger than most rental showrooms. Candice has a sixth sense for fashion that fits your brand, not just the trend cycle. Whether she's sourcing full campaign looks or zhuzhing your shoot on set, she makes everything look considered, expensive, and cool without trying too hard (even though she tries very hard).
